GENERAL INFORMATION
The Garden Courtyard
will accommodate 100 guests for a sit-down dinner or 250
guests for a hors d’oeuvre reception. Room rental fee is
included in package price. Minimum of 50 guests.
The St. Clair Room will accommodate 400 guests for a
wedding reception or 500 guests without a dance floor.
Daytime minimum is 100, evening minimum is 150. Room rental
fee is included in package price.
Daytime receptions are held 11:00 am to 3:30 pm . Evening
wedding receptions are held 6:00 pm to 1:00 am.
Marchiori Catering will prepare all catering food, with the
exception of the wedding cake. A licensed bakery must
prepare wedding cakes and only three varieties of cake
batter are allowed. No additional food may be brought in or
taken out of the building.
Every effort will be made to provide notice at the time of
booking of any scheduled repair or renovation to the
facilities/grounds. However, due to the age and constant
use of the facilities/grounds, advance notice may not
always be possible.
All fees and menu prices may be subject to an increase if
Market Prices Drastically Increase.
RESERVATIONS
All arrangements are
made directly with the Marchiori office. A hold may be
placed on a requested date for one week.
A security deposit of
$900.00 along with the signed and completed Catering
Contract is required to confirm a reservation for the St.
Clair Room. Please include date of the event on the memo
portion of the check and mail it to the attention of
Marchiori Catering.
All other events require a security deposit of $350.00
along with the signed and completed Catering Contract to
confirm the date.
An appointment should be scheduled with the Marchiori
Catering at least two weeks prior to the event. Final
arrangements for your event will be made at this meeting.
POLICIES
A. Alcoholic beverages,
if desired, must be provided by the patron and must be
removed from the premises at the end of the reception.
Alcoholic beverages are not to be sold on the premises
unless necessary licenses are obtained. A beverage-handling
fee will be assessed for each person. This fee includes
bartender, wine steward, glasses, ice, mixes and garnishes.
Champagne, beer, and/or wine must be delivered chilled and
clearly marked with last name of the patron.
The bar will close and
the music will end promptly 15 minutes prior to the
contracted departure time on the catering contract.
Our facility does not
serve alcohol to minors or to guests that are intoxicated
and reserves the right to close the bar. Alcoholic shots
and pitchers of beer will not be permitted at any time. The
undersigned (patron) agrees to indemnify Marchiori Catering
and the Assumption Center from any and all liability, loss
or damage the Center may suffer as a result of claims,
demands, costs or judgments against them, jointly and
severally, arising out of any personal injury and/or
property damage arising out of the furnishing or
consumption of alcohol or other activities of the patron or
patron’s guests or clients while on the Assumption Center’s
premises.
D.
Throwing and/or using confetti, rice, birdseed, glitter,
etc. is not permitted.
Any equipment or
supplies brought in (i.e. alcohol, flowers, decorations,
etc.) must be pre-approved by the Event Coordinator and
removed immediately after the event.
E. The Assumption
Center’s furniture may not be moved except by permission of
Marchiori Catering.
F. Marchiori Catering and Assumption Center will not be
held responsible for any loss or damage of patron property
(including alcoholic beverages left after the event).
The Lessee will be held
financially responsible for any Assumption Center property
used or damaged.
The Lessee shall hold the Lessor harmless from any and all
liability to any guest or invitees upon the leased premises
from any and all liabilities for any and all acts or
incidences which may occur while the guests or invitees are
upon the leased premises before, during or after the term
of the lease as a result of any activity or event while on
the leased premises.
Any excessive noise or rowdy behavior will not be tolerated
and Marchiori Catering reserves the right to terminate and
cancel any event and evict any and all persons responsible
therefore.
In the event of a fire, flood, storm, tornado or any other
event, which shall cause the building to become
untenantable by the lessee, then the Lease shall be null
and void and neither party shall have any liability to the
other under this Lease.
The Lessee will neither assign this Lease nor sublet the
premises or any part thereof without the
consent of Marchiori Catering thereto endorsed hereon in
writing.
This Lease and the terms of application thereof constitute
the entire agreement between Marchiori Catering and the
Lessee.
CANCELLATIONS
Marchiori Catering must
be notified of any transfer or cancellation in writing.
A refund of the reservation deposit less a $200.00
cancellation fee will be given with six months or more
written notice for cancellation of a n event. Any refund will
be made to the person whose signature appears on the
original contract.
No refund if less than six months notice is given from the
date of the event.
With six months or more written notice, deposits for a
contract date may be transferred to another date, based on
availability. No transfer may be made if less than six
months until the contract date. The rescheduled date must
be within one year of the original booked date. A $200.00
transfer fee will be assessed at the time of the transfer;
only one transfer per contract is allowed.
BILLING PROCEDURES
The final guarantee of
expected attendance and the balance due must be made by
noon the Friday preceding the event (i.e. a Saturday event
will be guaranteed at least eight days in advance).
If any additional costs are incurred the day of the event,
(guests over the guaranteed number, etc.), an additional
bill will be mailed to the Lessee by Tuesday following the
event and is payable upon receipt.
Payment must be made by certified check or money order 10
days prior to the event.
